OVERVIEW


Carter-Lambert Divisions is actively seeking Biostatistician to join our NIMHD Digital Health & Health Disparities Research Laboratory in pursuit of support.


Work Location: Onsite- Bethesda, Maryland


Job Duties


• Provide consultation on statistical analysis and methods; perform data cleaning and

formatting, data harmonization, and data analyses; and preparing results for publication from

clinical trials, experimental and observational studies, interventional studies, and secondary

data analysis projects based on nationally representative and non-representative data and

medical/hospital data.

• Develop and implement methods and procedures for the collection, processing, compilation,

cleaning, and analysis of data.

• Evaluate new statistical procedures and software and adapt them as necessary.

• Interpret and communicate results of analyses in written and oral formats and generate

tabular presentations and graphical visualizations of the data.

• Generate and maintain an annotated database of all raw and analytic datasets and create

and update documentation on variables in analytic datasets (i.e., data dictionary).

• Collaborate with lab members on aspects of study design, analysis, and interpretation, and

work closely with the research team on writing research protocols, grant proposals, and

manuscripts.

• Attend lab meetings and work as an integrated team member.

• Support fellows in the lab on statistical analyses, research methods, and study designs.

• Perform other research support activities as needed. 


 

Qualifications


Required Education and Experience:


PHD OR Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Statistics and Global Public Health with 15 or more Years
